What we offer UK businesses today
Pulse Labs works with UK businesses through the same acquisition engine we use elsewhere: a website and enquiry funnel built under your brand, local search visibility and Google Ads, adjusted to what people in your area search for. The United Kingdom is included on our enquiry and booking forms.
To be clear about what this page is: we do not yet publish UK town or city pages or UK-specific guides, and we do not have a UK office. The guides linked below mainly use North American and Australian examples. Their methods carry over, but the regulators, prices and spelling will differ.

How local search works in the UK
Searches such as “emergency plumber” or “private MRI scan” are usually treated as local, with nearby Business Profiles shown on a map. Google says local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, which includes links to the business and the number and rating of its reviews. It also states that you cannot pay for a better local ranking (Google Business Profile Help). The basics come first: an accurate profile with the right categories, a genuine address or defined service area, reviews from real customers, and a website that explains each service and names the towns you cover.
UK rules that shape advertising claims
These are the official sources we check first. The summaries are general information, not legal advice.
- Advertising claims. The CAP Code, applied by the Advertising Standards Authority, covers advertising and marketing on a business’s own website and social media where it is directly connected with selling (scope). Marketing must not materially mislead, and objective claims need documentary evidence (section 03).
- Dental practices. The GDC’s advertising guidance expects accurate advertising that includes GDC registration numbers, and practice websites that give the practice address, complaints procedure and GDC contact details. Only dentists on a GDC specialist list may call themselves specialists.
- Solicitors. The SRA Transparency Rules require firms advertising certain services, such as residential conveyancing and uncontested estate administration, to publish price and service information. Firms must publish their complaints procedure, and authorised firms must display the SRA digital badge.
- Cookies and marketing email. Under PECR, overseen by the ICO, non-essential cookies need consent (ICO cookie guidance, currently being revised). Marketing emails to individuals and sole traders generally need consent unless the soft opt-in applies; emails to limited companies can be sent without consent but must identify the sender and offer an opt-out (ICO email guidance).
